The location is great and the food is good. The rooftop bar is a nice place to relax. This is not a great business hotel because the rooms do not have a proper desk or chair. A hotel that caters to business travelers should have an adequate desk. I was disappointed. The location is nice. There are some good restaurants in the area, and views of the beach from the hotel are beautiful.

It's one of the best hotels I ever stayed at. The room was impeccable. And the staff was the real highlight. Imed and Riadh at the front desk took such good care of us.The 360 restaurant was no different. Aymen and the whole staff were attentive to the slightest details. The meals were a delight and the jazz music just the cherry on top.

It is not my first time in Dar El Marsa, i was in fact there right after its opening and i am glad that after 5 years its service is still 10/10.Let’s start with the positives;1-swift check in, even if your room is not ready they offer you to use their breathtaking rooftop restaurant and they will call you as soon as it becomes ready2- staff/personnel, the nicest and friendliest. They greet you, ask about your stay and if you need anything. 3- offered extended check out till 2pm for free4- room, spacious, breathtaking views on the Mediterranean with a large balcony, comfy king size bed, generous amenities 5- mini bar, free soft drinks with daily replenish 6- fruits and sandwiches and sparkling water in room first day i arrived 7- fitness room, hamam sauna for free although I didn’t have the time to use 8-la terrace rooftop restaurant: good food, great views, live entertainment 9- currency change service; same rates as the airport. 10- airport transfer, reliable and luxurious. Some improvements to be taken; 1- I understand security is priority but being checked through security guards every time you go out/in is not convenient 2- breakfast, felt that for what you pay it could offer more variety and items.

I stayed at the hotel for a week and was very pleased. The hotel has a helpful, friendly, and professional staff, quiet comfortable rooms, fantastic food, and a 360 view rooftop restaurant. The beautiful view and outstanding location are added benefits.I will plan on returning to Dar el Marsa on my next visit to Tunisia.

We had an excellent stay at Dar el Marsa hotel. We had made a booking for a week (rooms plus a conference room) for 15 people and the hospitality and arrangements were truly exceptional. Ms Fatma Aissa was our point of contact and was very responsive in catering to our requirements. The hotel and kitchen staff were able to accommodate multiple dietary requirements (on short notice), ensure we had refreshment stations in the conference rooms and also helped us with the visa process. All staff were exceptional, attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble! An added bonus is the excellent location of the hotel!

With many years of continuous travel to Tunisia, as well as considerable feedback from our clients who stay in Tunisian hotels, our opinion is that most of these properties fall short when compared to international star ratings, most often because of service. All the “bells & whistles” are great, but at the end of a stay when a front desk person or bellman chases after a client for a $5.00 laundry bill, rather than asking “how was your stay”, it shows a lack of training from the management as to how such oversights should be handled.Dar el Marsa in La Marsa not only has the “bells & whistle’s” of a fine dining restaurant, beautifully designed rooms, attractive common areas and what is one of the best locations in Tunis, but the hotel’s staff exudes first class service from the time you enter the lobby and have your bags received, to the housekeeping staff, restaurant personnel and at the front desk. Good service is never an accident in such hotels, but rather, a result of training and standards directed from the top and led by example. Owner Skander Mestiri does just that! Whether discreetly walking around scanning everything, or warmly going up and greeting guests, Mestiri’s presence and standards for a 5* boutique property lead by example and are followed by the rank and file.We recently had twenty guests booked at Dar el Marsa and every one raved! This type of feedback is what one wants in a hotel and makes Dar el Marsa is a winner on the Tunis hotel scene!
